In real life, she has never thought of finding love again while doing the job. Then he ended up meeting “The Glamazon” Beth Phoneix. Then the dynamic duo was converted into new WWE couples at the beginning of the last decade.

In his WWE 24 documentary named Edge: The Second Mountain, the Hall of Famer discussed his love life. Despite being on the same roster, the first time Edge met Beth Phoenix was after his retirement and got to know each other and how much they had in common, in terms of where they trained and the people they knew outside of work.
The 11-time world champion revealed that the first time he had a real talk with Beth Phoenix was during the Edge appreciation night at the Scotiabank Arena in his hometown of Toronto, Canada.

Edge went on to mention that this arena will always have a special place for him as he met the love of her life, here who later became parents of two beautiful children.
“So, Beth and I started dating after we connected here [Scotiabank Arena in Toronto] on the day of Edge Appreciation,” Edge recalled. “It was so crazy. We were cordial to each other, but we didn’t know each other. That day, we started talking. ‘I had no idea that you trained at the same gym as me by the same people. And, that you wrestled at the same dive bars just seven years after me.’
“So, the woman I’m married to and have two little gorgeous girls with, are entire relationship starts here. So, this building is pretty huge for me. It’s kind of overwhelming.”
In real-life, Edge was a married man until 2006 about whom he never really opened up. That relationship did not work as the woman found out that he started an adulterous relationship with Lita on WWE TV.
It soon began a real love affair which was used for storyline purpose, as well. For sometimes, Edge also acted as the on-screen husband of Vickie Guerrero, as well before retirement and then marry Beth Phoenix to start a family.
Edge and Beth Phoneix were attacked by Randy Orton on separate occasions during the WrestleMania 36 storyline. The Rated R Superstar then challenged his long time friend cum bitter rival, in a Last Man Standing match on night two of the biggest event of the year.
He came out victorious, proving he’d take torments to the maximum limit but make the ultimate sacrifice to protect his family.
