Former Champion Jinder Mahal Signs New Contract With WWE
It’s great to hear that our India-origin star Jinder Mahal will be staying in the WWE for some more years. In the midst of crisis of talents who want to extend their deals, this name may have been an exception. He has recently confirmed his stay with the biggest pro-wrestling banner for multiple years from now.
According to the reports of fightful.com and Pro Wrestling Sheet, he has penned a new deal with the WWE. The former WWE and United States Champion Jinder Mahal has just re-signed with the WWE for multiple years. Rumors suggest that the contract should stay valid up to 2024, starting from now.
Jinder Mahal debuted in the WWE back in 2011 as part of the Florida Championship Wrestling. He aligned himself with former World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali for sometimes and then move on to have own solo career. It was not that much successful as he left the business in 2014 after the 3MB faction failed to make an impact on the show.
He continued wrestling in independent circuit alongside helping Khali’s promotion in India, Continental Wrestling Entertainment before returning to WWE in 2016. The next year remained career-changing for him as he defeated Randy Orton at Backlash to win the WWE Championship. A 170-day reign followed before AJ Styles took it away. He also had a Wrestlemania moment by winning the US title in 2018.

Since then, his career has only gone towards downward direction. However, he could not have a better option to work elsewhere than WWE. The fans in India would also be happy to learn this.
WWE has been on the receiving end of troublesome experiences while signing talents in recent times. Their backstage atmosphere has said to be in an extremely mess with All Elite Wrestling has a lot to do with it. Talents are considering this new promotion as a suitable replacement for the WWE.
But they still managed to sign some of the talents including Jinder Mahal. Apart from him, Mojo Rawley and Mike & Maria Kanellis are the notable names who signed multiple years’ contract with the company.
