A few days ago, former WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella informed to get engaged to her former Dancing with the Stars partner Artem Chigvintsev.
Nikki broke the news via Instagram to reveal that Artem popped the question back in November and said yes. But she wanted to share it with all of her fans on the big occasion of New Year with the following statement,
“Excited for 2020 and the next decade with you @theartemc [heart emoji] I said yes in France in November! We have been trying to keep it a secret but really wanted to share our excitement for the New Year!”

On this note, we should note that Nikki Bella was in a highly publicized relationship with former WWE Champion John Cena while meeting Artem in Dancing with the Stars.
They started dating in 2012 and their relationship became a significant part of Total Divas and Total Bellas reality TV series. John Cena proposed to her in 2017 at WrestleMania 33 in front of the live audience.

But the marriage was called off right before it was about to happen in May 2018. John Cena and Nikki Bella decided to part their ways in a mutual way which still keeps the good terms in existence around them.

According to HollywoodLife.com, The Cenation Leader is very happy for her ex-girlfriend’s engagement news,
“He is very happy that she has found someone that treats her so amazingly well. Nikki was an extremely important part of John’s life so it does remind him of what they had and he is also reminded of his proposal to her at WrestleMania a few years ago but he also has thought that they have both grown from their relationship and they both have moved on.”
“John and Nikki are on great terms, he wants nothing but the best for her. And it’s not a big shock or anything, John knows how happy she is with Artem and how much she wants to settle down so he was expecting this sooner or later. He will always cherish his memories with Nikki but he’s moved on too. John’s very happy with his girlfriend Shay so that makes it easier to accept Nikki moving on,” another source added.
For those who don’t know, John Cena has also been in a relationship of his own with Shay Shariatzadeh, whom he met while shooting Play With Fire in Vancouver, Canada.
He has openly wished the very best to Nikki Bella while the same has been the response from the other side, too. Since the breakup, the two of them have been away from the WWE scene, as well.
