There’s no doubt about Brock Lesnar being the most dominant Superstar of the bygone decade. It would also not be wrong to dub him as perhaps the strongest performer in a WWE ring considering his track record.
There’s a very few on the roster who was not conquered by the Conqueror during his WWE stint that began in 2012 following a shocking return after WrestleMania 28.

The 16-time world champion has witnessed the recently bygone Royal Rumble pay-per-view in Houston, Texas where Lesnar created a ruckus. Cena was fully impressed by his performance and did not back down to helm him as the greatest of all-time.
While speaking to Sports Illustrated, John Cena admitted that he watched Royal Rumble from his home. He loved the event but most importantly it was Brock Lesnar who stole the show. After watching his performance, Cena called the Beast Incarnate “the best in-ring performer of all time.” Here’s more from the Cenation leader from the interview, (courtesy ringsidenews.com)
“I thought the event was extra special. It was great to be able to watch it as a fan and not endure any fear of missing out and just enjoy the event. And I can say with the utmost sincerity that I believe Brock Lesnar is best in-ring performer that I’ve seen and I know it’s an opinion, and if you want a cool quote, here it is: I think he’s the best in-ring performer of all time.
I thought his performance at the Rumble was a clinic on how to establish yourself, how to establish those around you, establish the championship, establish the importance of one event. He did so in less than 30 minutes, and I certainly don’t have the skill set to do that, and it was awesome to be able to see a masterclass man put on a clinic on what to do and how to do it and I was really impressed with the Rumble.”

Brock Lesnar entered Royal Rumble 2020 at the number one position despite being the WWE Champion, just to destroy superstars standing in his path. In the process, he went fully berserk and eliminated 13 superstars in the process, in a row setting a record before going over the top rope by Drew McIntyre.
As for John Cena, he knows first-hand what kind of pain Brock Lesnar can bring to a match. It was their bout in SummerSlam 2014 where Lesnar manhandled him to the most one-sided WWE Championship match in WWE history on a PPV night. The Suplex City term was solidified on that night. Cena has certainly not forgotten that night.
