Last night’s WWE Super SmackDown episode saw Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defeating Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose in a tag team rematch. It was noted during the commentary by Corey Graves that the winners of the match would earn a title shot against the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors – Asuka and Kairi Sane. This could set up a cross-brand match between the two teams from the female roster.

It was later indicated on SmackDown that the winners may just end up getting a title shot as this win would put Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross in line for a championship match.

The Dirt Sheet And Two Big Returns Announced For Next WWE SmackDown

At this point, WWE has not confirmed when Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss vs. Asuka and Kairi Sane would happen. Considering that, WWE is not allowing Raw superstars to appear on SmackDown and vice-versa, chances are high that this match could happen in a nearby pay-per-view event.

But then again, the next PPV is scheduled to happen in Saudi Arabia where there are restrictions on women’s competition. So it’ll be interesting to see when WWE eventually hosts this match.

Super SmackDown episode on FOX also witnessed Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville approaching Otis and Tucker backstage. They thanked Otis for helping Mandy during the 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match last Sunday and save her from elimination. This led Otis asking his crush Rose out on a date during next Friday Night’s SmackDown. Rose said she already has plans for next Friday.

But then she agreed to hang out on the following Friday. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville then walked off while Otis was still in awe after getting her peach booked on a date. It was Tucker who then pointed out how Otis now has plans with her lady love on Valentine’s Day which falls on a Friday night, two weeks from now.

With that being said, fans of this couple can now gear up for a pleasant segment on a special day of the year where love will be in the air.

The February 14 Valentine’s Day edition of SmackDown on FOX will air live from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Now that the confirmations have been received, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville might take their bond one step forward on that night.
