Nia Jax earned negative fame in the WWE as a botchmaster after hitting Becky Lynch with a stiff punch into the mouth on the road to Survivor Series 2018.
She ended up breaking Lynch’s nose that night creating an infamous scene where the former Raw Women’s Champion posed with blood pouring down from all over her body. That was the moment when WWE Universe started comparing her with none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Whereas Nia Jax received tremendous social media fan criticism over the punch that gave Becky Lynch a bloody nose, the victim gained extreme popularity among fans, who was then getting worshipped as The Man.
Technically, that incident was the stepping stone for the first Women’s WrestleMania main event in the 2019 edition. Some also consider Nia Jax’s punch acted as the inducer for The Man gimmick.
Nia Jax spoke with WWE interviewer Kayla Braxton for her “Braxton Beat” show on the WWE Instagram account and commented on the issue. She noted on whether the November 2018 punch to RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, was responsible for turning Becky Lynch into “The Man” in WWE. Braxton directly asked Jax if she feels that she eventually helped Becky to reach the top of the fame. Jax responded with a ton of praise for the soon-to-be-mom,
“I won’t take anything away from Becky Lynch, you know, she’s so boastful of herself,” Nia Jax said. She worked hard and granted, that night, however it happened, will go down in infamy, and I’m not gonna say I helped create her. Nia Jax Challenges Ronda Rousey On Twitter Continuing Beef In WWE
At that point, Becky Lynch was scheduled to face Ronda Rousey in a champion vs champion match at Survivor Series 2018. But that punch from Nia Jax gave her a concussion and didn’t allow her to compete in the match. But later, Lynch would go on to win the WrestleMania 35 main event a few months later, over Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair, and become one of the top attractions of WWE.
As of now, we won’t be seeing Becky Lynch in the WWE for a long time as she announced pregnancy this past episode of WWE RAW. She is expecting a child in December of this year with fiancée Seth Rollins.
