WWE has a tradition of cutting down unwanted roster members on a yearly basis. It continued during 2019 fall as they have recently announced four names who won’t be known as a WWE superstar anymore.

These are Luke Harper, Sin Cara and The Ascension’s Viktor and Konnor. Going by their career history, they were more than ready to leave the company.

Sin Cara is currently a WWE RAW Superstar having the real name of Jorge Arias, who also performed under the ring name of Hunico before becoming the masked persona. WWE has granted his release that he requested last month. As per his social media account, the high-flying athlete seemed pretty much happy to leave the scene.

His injury-prone body was no more able to go through the hectic schedule given by the company. He recently returned on Raw from reconstructive knee surgery to have a one-off storyline with Andrade that happened to be his last.

Moving forward, Sin Cara is reportedly interested to pursue a career in MMA. He is close to fellow countryman, Alberto Del Rio who is an official in the Combate Americas MMA promotion.

He can arrange for him the needful things in the future to jump into a profession where Sin Cara can have some legit fights and close down his career on a good note.

Alongside Sin Cara, Luke Harper is another name who was granted the release from the roster. He requested for the same back in April and openly posted to let known his pledge on his Twitter account.

Thus Harper’s contract was extended to early 2020 due to a wrist injury. He was brought back on TV during Clash of Champions but soon got taken off once Rowan’s storyline with Roman Reigns came to an end.

Harper filed a trademark to perform under the ring name of Brodie Lee around the indie circuit. He could also be heading into the Ring of Honor promotion since Villain Enterprises leader Marty Scurll has shown interest to recruit him into his heel faction. Scurll shared a photo of himself on Instagram posing with Harper and alongside a caption which says “Villain Enterprises ?! #villain ??”

So it won’t be a surprise at all to see the former Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion on ROH promotion. It would be good for him as he’s desperate to show his true potential to the pro-wrestling industry.
