As per the earlier reports, The Undertaker was not supposed to show up during the WrestleMania 36 season. There are a number of legendary wrestlers’ names are being discussed in the mix who could make a comeback to feature in the showcase of immortals.

However, the greatest-ever performer on the biggest stage was nowhere to be found in the context fueling up the speculations that he won’t be available in the upcoming months.

Contradictory reports are now available suggesting The Undertaker will make his return to WWE programming at this month’s Royal Rumble 2020 pay-per-view.

Update On Injured WWE Raw Superstar’s Status For Royal Rumble 2020

He may compete in the Men’s Royal Rumble match considering that the Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas isn’t currently sold out for the Royal Rumble PPV.

Goldberg Says He Owes A Receipt To The Undertaker

There’s no doubt that The Undertaker is the most trusted shoulder that WWE can have to move all the left out tickets. The same thing happened at WWE Extreme Rules 2019, where the PPV wasn’t sold out.

WWE later announced that The Undertaker will show up for a match at that event which was the main reason behind the tickets getting finished.

Two more reasons were dictated by wwfoldschool.com as to why we should expect The Undertaker to perform at 2020 Royal Rumble match,

“Also, The Undertaker was born in Houston, Texas, so that could be another factor in why The Deadman could be interested in making a return at this event.

Another thing that should be noted here is that The Undertaker will complete 30 years in the WWE this year, and it’s possible that WWE wants to use The Phenom more this year and build a lot of shows around him for this historic achievement.”

It would be something similar to 2015 where he was used in more shows than usual to celebrate his 25th WWE anniversary. So he could show up to perform in the first Big-Four event of the year.

This appearance won’t be hectic for him since it’s easy to work in a Royal Rumble match for an aged man like him.

The Undertaker would turn 55 in next March which means WWE officials will prefer to let him work in the Royal Rumble match.

It does not force him to take more bumps on one night and save those for a major appearance, at a later date. He appeared at the 2017 Rumble match to be eliminated by Roman Reigns after spending a few minutes in it.
