Last night’s episode of NXT appeared to be a major threat for the pro-wrestling fans who witnessed the smoking hot debut of the couple Karrion Kross and Scarlett. Also, Rhea Ripley made her return to WWE NXT during the May 6 episode on the USA Network making things interesting in the women’s championship picture.
It looks like the reigning champion Charlotte Flair will have a tougher job in her hand while protecting her title run.

The latest NXT episode had a championship match on the card which saw the NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair defending against the number one contender Io Shirai. The challenger went on to defeat the Champion, Charlotte Flair by disqualification, but the title didn’t change hands since DQ finish ensures the champion retains the title. Flair was disqualified after using a kendo stick on Shirai as they brawled outside of the ring.
Charlotte Flair had the upper-hand on NXT who kept the beatdown ongoing until Rhea Ripley ran down to make the save. The former NXT Women’s Champion brought Flair into the ring to continue beating her down, but Flair managed to somehow retreat with her title.

Io Shirai wasn’t happy about how things proceeded and started ranting at Rhea Ripley in Japanese. In reply, Ripley told her to “shut up!” while walking towards backstage.
When NXT came back from the commercial, we saw McKenzie Mitchell interviewing Rhea Ripley outside the closed-set WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The Australian superstar says she’s tired of Charlotte Flair continuously doing the “bow down crap.”

As for Flair’s win against her at WrestleMania 36, that was just one night and Ripley would like to see The Queen do it again. Io Shirai then interrupted this interview of Rhea Ripley to engage in a brawl outside the building. The two continued the fight until officials broke it up.

Last night marked the first appearance of Rhea Ripley since losing the NXT Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair during the opening contest of Night Two of WrestleMania 36 on April 5.
It seems the creative team has booked the next NXT Women’s Title feud booked which will witness Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, and Io Shirai engaging in a three-way feud.
Although it’s yet to be confirmed, Flair may soon have to defend against both these two women superstars in her next title defense. With that being said, the Queen’s ongoing reign looks to be in jeopardy.
