The pro-wrestling circuit has opined a lot as the women’s evolution might have been halted a bit in recent times. Although WWE has allowed them to main-event in the past two pay-per-view events, the booking may have not been right for them. Charlotte Flair is the latest example of the situation who has done almost nothing since coming to Monday Night Raw.

During a recent edition of WWE’s After The Bell podcast, WWE commentator Corey Graves addressed the matter. He seemed upset about WWE ignoring Charlotte Flair in the current context and thereby giving him a significant role on the flagship show.

Charlotte Flair Wishes To Form Tag Team With Alexa Bliss

Here’s what Corey said the following about WWE’s booking of Charlotte Flair,

“In my opinion, Charlotte Flair has never felt less important than she does right now. This is Charlotte Flair we’re talking about. She has a resume a mile long.

In the few short years, she has cemented herself as one, if not, the greatest female superstar in WWE history. By the time it’s all set and done, I’m pretty certain we will be referring to ‘The Queen’ as such.

But something about what’s been happening lately just feels off. This whole tag team thing with Charlotte finding a different partner week after week, it just doesn’t click. I’m not feeling it. It looks to me like Charlotte isn’t feeling it. You can see it on her face.

Now it seems that Charlotte’s father Ric Flair also has the same idea. While talking to wrestlingINC.com, the Nature Boy seemed visibly upset that WWE failed to provide proper booking to his daughter.

He pointed out that WWE may think that Charlotte can do this forever. But in reality, it’s not possible like himself who has been around the wrestling circuit for 40 years.

“I am not happy with the way they are doing it; I guess she’s been put in that role.

Number one, I need to be left out of the equation because she has surpassed me in talent. She’s never gonna be around for 40 years which is why I’m still a household name. I think they look at it and say, ‘Well, she’s like her dad. She’ll do anything we want her to do because she’s a pro’.

I don’t think she’ll ever be bored with her storylines and not participate at its fullest. That part is wrong on Corey’s part.

But as far as her being the best athlete in the company, a Hall of Famer already, and being the biggest star of the women’s division, he’s spot on.”

Overall in 2019, Charlotte Flair has not done that much worse. She has won the Women’s Championship on three different occasions to take her title reign count to ten. She has faced Trish Stratus in a dream fight at Summerslam 2019 in her last match ever.

Also, she has been in the main event of WWE TLC pay-per-view in December on a historic occasion. Now she is looking forward to winning Women’s Royal Rumble in 2020.
