For the first-time-ever, WWE will be hosting WrestleMania as a two-night extravaganza. Although the show of shows have been withdrawn from the original venue, it is currently scheduled to take place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida without any audience.
To add more hypes to the celebration, WrestleMania 36 will be hosted by NFL veteran Rob Gronkowski. He will be appearing live on this week’s episode of SmackDown to let us know more details on planning around the 2020 edition of the showcase of immortals. Meanwhile, here’s the official statement provided by WWE’s official website,
“WrestleMania 36 is now set for a historic two-night presentation on WWE Network with former New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski hosting The Show of Shows at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on Saturday, April 4, and Sunday, April 5.
The 2020 edition of The Showcase of the Immortals will make history as the first to span across multiple days.”
Rob Gronkowski was also seen promoting his appearance on this big announcement made by WWE as he has now become the official host of WrestleMania 36. Previously, he was speculated to get inserted into an angle leading up to the biggest event of the year but WWE rather pushed it back and gave him a role that must be keeping him busy throughout the two nights.
It’s official! I’m hosting @WrestleMania this year…and it’s gonna be too big for just one night. For the 1st time, #WrestleMania will be a ?2-NIGHT?event: Saturday, April 4 AND Sunday, April 5 on @WWENetwork! Tell you more this Friday night on #SmackDown at 8 ET on @FOXTV.

Additionally, the statement released by WWE.com hinted that WrestleMania will not only take place at ‘WWE’s training facility but will include multiple locations over two nights.’
It was not disclosed which secondary venue WWE is considering to arrange the extravaganza. But rumors were rift about Madison Square Garden probably getting to be a part of the show. More clarifications are expected when SmackDown airs this Friday night.
As if now, Royal Rumble Match winner Drew McIntyre challenges WWE Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 whereas Universal Champion Goldberg defends his title against Roman Reigns. WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch got her biggest threat in the form of Shayna Baszler over the title.
Also, 16-time World Champion John Cena returns to fight against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt. Plus, AJ Styles is looking forward to putting the “final nail in the coffin” of The Undertaker’s career in a dream match.
