Roman Reigns must be away from the WWE but that certainly didn’t keep him away from staying in shape. He’s always been a fitness freak who has now posted a workout video on his Instagram account. It showed how great the in-ring shape he is in, lately so that whenever he gets a call from the call from WWE, he could give a positive response.
As reported earlier on several occasions, Roman Reigns has been gone from WWE since in the middle of March when the coronavirus outbreak just took off. He was scared of getting infected after becoming a father of twins which could potentially harm the newborns. He himself was said to be in an immunocompromised state due to earlier battle with Leukemia.
Royal Rumble: Roman Reigns Claims To Be The Best Competitor For The WWE PPV
In the latest post, Roman Reigns mentioned how he’s getting stronger and building muscle. But apparently, he’s still not in that position with the body where he wants to be. Below is how he captioned the video,
“Shoulders week 1 #Y3T. Seated Side Laterals, Rep range 12-16. Definitely getting stronger and building muscle but not quite where I want to be. The grind continues as I follow this fitness Journey/Lifestyle. Hope this finds everyone well and in good health. Shout out to Coach @neil_yoda_hill1 , wishing u a speedy recovery my friend! Stay safe and God bless!”
WWE can’t afford to let their marquee attraction staying out of action for a longer timespan as these cause in tanking of ratings for weekly programming. However, as the coronavirus situation deteriorates, they can’t expect Roman Reigns to be back, anytime soon.
Coronavirus: More WWE Talents Want To Take Time-Off Like Roman Reigns
Ringside News has recently reported that there is no backstage new available to bring back Roman Reigns to be a part of SummerSlam 2020. His wasn’t part of creative discussions, as well for a very long time. Since the company isn’t making any plans for the former Universal Champion, it’s not likely that he’d be in action, quickly although he wants to.
While speaking to The Hindu, Roman Reigns addressed when the much-anticipated return to WWE. He said he can’t wait to “smash people.” The training sessions haven’t stopped for a bit during the hiatus. But he just wants to wait until the novel coronavirus pandemic gets leveled off or a vaccine is supplied for the dreaded virus.
“I’m ready to smash people if you know what I mean. I’ve been training my butt off during this pandemic. As far as performing in front of an empty arena is concerned, it is tough and I really commend all the guys and girls who are doing it. Everything that I have ever learned was in order to get a reaction and to interact with our fans… so that is the hardest part.”
