As seen on the post-Royal Rumble edition of WWE Raw, Edge was brutally attacked by Randy Orton which may have sent him back to retirement.

Since then, we have neither seen nor heard from the Copeland family, at all regarding the injury status of the 11-time world champion. Tonight, Beth Phoenix is going to break that silence as she’ll have a mic on her hand on WWE Raw, as confirmed by WWE.com,

“The Glamazon — a WWE Hall of Famer in her own right and wife of the injured Edge — will return to Team Red to provide a medical update on the former WWE Champion. Phoenix has provided no clues as to which way things are headed, but one way or another, the WWE Universe will have answers as to what lies ahead for the legendary Superstar … if not the motivation of the man who put him out of action in the first place.”

In a carried report by ringsidenews.com, it was noted that Beth Phoenix will be challenging Asuka and Kairi Sane for the Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 36. Her tag team partner will be none other than Natalya as they will reform the Divas of Doom. Previously, there were speculations of WWE hosting a Fatal-4-way match at WrestleMania for the concerned title. But now it seems, a traditional tag match will be in store.

WWE will make the most of a Hall of Famer during her in-ring return at WrestleMania 36. Beth Phoenix and Natalya were also part of the tag team titles match, last year, too along with three more teams. This could be the reason why a multi-team lineup could be scrapped. Asuka and Kairi Sane proved themselves to be quite a strong tag team who needs strong challengers against them. The team of Phoenix and Nattie would be a good choice, in this context.
