Night two of WrestleMania 36 brought packed action sequences with a series of solid matches lined up. Multiple titles were on the line including the WWE Championship held by Brock Lesnar. Also, two gimmick matches were in store featuring legendary superstars.

WWE NXT Women’s Title Match
Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley (c)

Charlotte Flair targeted the injured knee of Ripley to take early control of the match. Ripley countered with a missile dropkick followed by a Standing Cloverleaf submission hold. Flair came back with a Boston Crab and a spear. She locked in the Figure Eight forcing her opponent to tap out. Flair became the new NXT Women’s Champion at WrestleMania 36.

Bobby Lashley vs. Aleister Black

Lashley delivered some initial Suplex and powerslam moves before going for the Spear but Black met him with a big knee. Lashley came back with a Running Crossbody and a Clothesline. He went for the spear to run into the Black Mass via which Black picked up the win at WrestleMania.

Otis vs. Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler was out with Sonya Deville standing in his corner. He delivered an early Superkick to control the match until Otis slammed him to the mat. He hit the Compactor after which Deville tried to interfere. But Mandy Rose came out and slapped Deville in the face. She hit a low blow on Ziggler and Otis followed with a Caterpillar for the win. Rose planted a kiss on Otis as they celebrated in the ring.

Last Man Standing Match
Edge vs. Randy Orton

Randy Orton dressed as a cameraman and hit an RKO before the match began. After the bell rang, Orton dropped Edge with another RKO. Edge got up as the brawl was underway throughout the Performance Center. Orton went for a Punt Kick but Edge caught him with a Spear. He went for another Spear but Orton caught him with an RKO. Edge then choked out Orton with a unique submission move and performed the Con-chair-to to pick up the WrestleMania win as Orton failed to answer the referee’s ten-count.

Rob Gronkowski pinned Mojo Rawley to become the new WWE 24/7 Champion.

RAW Tag Team Titles Match
Angel Garza and Austin Theory vs. The Street Profits (c)

The challengers took some cheap shots to dominate the champions. Garza hit a Moonsault but was unable to get the win. Dawkins blocked the Wing Clipper and dropped Theory allowing Ford to connect with the Frogsplash for the victory. The challenger attacked the champions after this WrestleMania match was over. Bianca Belair ran out and dropped Vega with a KOD while the Street Profits dropped the challengers to celebrate in the ring.

Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match for the SmackDown Women’s Title
Lacey Evans vs. Sasha Banks vs. Naomi vs. Tamina Snuka vs. Bayley (c)

Tamina was the first woman to get eliminated as Naomi hit a split-legged moonsault and all the other women piled on her for the pinfall. Sasha then locked in the Bank Statement on Naomi to tap her out whereas Evans connected with a Women’s Right to eliminate Banks. Evans hit a Moonsault but Bayley kicked out of that. Banks came back to the ring and hit a Backstabber allowing Bayley to retain her title at WrestleMania.

Firefly Fun House Match
John Cena vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt

The match took place in the Firefly FunHouse set where the two competitors ran us through different WWE legends and eras by coming out dressed as those characters. The end was harsh where The Fiend appeared from nowhere to drop Cena with a Sister Abigail. He applied the Mandible Claw to pick up an easy win.

WWE Title Match
Drew McIntyre vs. Brock Lesnar (c)

McIntyre started the match with a Claymore Kick but Lesnar kicked out of that. The champion soon countered with multiple German Suplex followed by three F5s. But Drew continued to kick out of those. Drew countered an F5 with the second Claymore Kick. He followed up with two more to finally pin the Beast Incarnate at WrestleMania. The new WWE Champion celebrated with the title to send the show off the air.
