Goldust is a veteran in the pro-wrestling world. The elder son of legendary Dustin Rhodes entertained the fans with his bizarre persona throughout his career. WWE presented him as one of strongest heels present on the roster back in the days. He used to be one of the R-rated superstars in the Attitude Era.

Fans surely have not forgotten his stint with Terry Runnels. Goldust portrayed one of the sexually exploited guys who was hard to predict. This even created differences between him and his family at one point. But then again it did wonder to his career. We saw him at the peak of his game back then.

During this WWE run, Goldust also made the Intercontinental Championship prestigious. A solid feud with the Undertaker was in reserve. Gradually, he went to lose his importance on the roster and departed the company at one point. It’s hard to believe that a superstar like his caliber did not hold the world title for once.

This thirst still drives the veteran superstar as per his quotes. Even at this age of 49, Goldust is continuing his run in the WWE as a superstar of Monday Night Raw. A fan asked whether he possesses any specific goal in mind during a Q&A session. The answer was straight from the Bizarre One.

Winning the world title and nothing else is the sole reason behind continuing his career. This might be the reason why he has kept himself fit even after not getting a proper role on WWE TV. Goldust does not fail to impress us with his quick moves, the minimal TV appearances he gets once in a while.

However, the former tag team title-holder does know that his prime days are far behind him. So in another social media post, he confirmed that the wish of becoming a world champion is never going to happen. Rather, he wished to team up with Tyler Breeze in the absence of Breezango who is recovering from an injury.

We should note on this context that Goldust himself is in the injured superstars’ list. He has successfully undergone a knee surgery in Birmingham, Alabama alongside Breezango. So there’s no way he is coming back on TV as soon as possible. There’s no update available whether it happens at all or not.
