We have seen a number of NXT superstars making their debut on the main roster, lately. Most of the prime names from the developmental territory has now been part of the mainstay scene. It leaves us wondering how the NXT roster itself will run through the Wrestlemania season unless the talents pull off double duties.
Who WWE considers as a female version of Roman Reigns?
One of those names is Lacey Evans who is appearing on both WWE Raw and Smackdown Live, regularly. She made her debut just prior to Royal Rumble. WWE creative team made her a part of the 30-women match itself who managed to last almost half an hour. She pulled off a big impact on the creative team.

If recent reports are to be believed then Vince McMahon himself considers her a horse in the long run. She is one of those three names who could be running the women’s division in the near future. So she was about to get a big match at Wrestlemania, too. But now the plans have changed as she will be starting her career feuding with a veteran.
Reports from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio suggested that Lacey Evans is set to feud with Natalya. This is going to be the first official rivalry for her after arriving at the main roster. The feud has already begun on WWE Raw after The Lady interrupted the Queen of Harts. She was celebrating after winning a match against Ruby Riott when Evans showed up.
She left after doing the regular struts leaving Natalya in a confusing state. Apparently, this was the beginning of the feud that will continue on Monday Night Raw over the next few weeks. Since Lacey Evans is a promising newbie, it’s almost guaranteed that she’ll end up winning the feud to cement her spot on the main roster.
Natalya has been the most experienced name on the WWE roster. She’s been here for over a decade to take care of the women’s roster. The creative team often puts the duty of putting over new talents to her since she can do it the most effective way. Her job will remain the same for this former NXT star who’s the future.
Earlier, WWE has thought of making Lacey Evans the challenger for Smackdown women’s championship at Wrestlemania. She could have competed against Asuka in a never-before-seen push to an NXT star. But with the changes in plan, she will have to wait about to go into the title picture. Hopefully, it happens once the biggest event of the year passes by.
