WWE News: Reason Why Huge WWE Superstars Missed Shows This Weekend

WWE seems to take extra care of their talents as the biggest event of the year is approaching closer. This is the peak season to watch wrestling as Wrestlemania is around the corner. There’s no other event in live sports entertainment like this extravaganza for which the prime WWE superstars need to be physically fit.

Taking more workloads might not be good for their body at this point. Hence, WWE may be using them in a rotating shift just to give them enough room to get over if any minor injury is bothering them. As seen on this past week, major WWE Superstars missed several house-shows that was a conscious decision of the creative team.

The number one contender for the Universal Championship, Seth Rollins was the first name in the list. He was dealing with a back injury and already had time-off for one month after winning the Royal Rumble. He came back to perform at Fastlane but chose to work in a lighter schedule dodging a few live events.

The same schedule can follow three other WWE Superstars including a champion. Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, and The Miz also missed house shows for the weekend as reported by cagesideseats.com. The source did not mention any confirmed reason for their absence but Wrestlemania 35 is the likely assumed reason.

All of these three names are likely to get involved in singles contests at Wrestlemania. Daniel Bryan should get Kofi Kingston as his opponent at the grandest event of the year over the WWE Championship. Vince McMahon is trying to prohibit Kofi from getting the title match but may not get success.

As for Rey Mysterio, there’s still no confirmed update regarding him. Assumptions suggest that he will take on Andrade in a match culminating their long-lasting feud on Smackdown. These two WWE Superstars deserve a spot at Wrestlemania to deliver a show-stellar. However, there’s no confirmation if this match happens.

The Miz will go head to head against his former Tag Team partner Shane McMahon. The latter one turned heel at Fastlane to plant seeds of this match. Later, this match got confirmed on WWE.com that was a predicted lineup ever since these two opponents decided to form a tag team together. These two should deliver an exciting match at Wrestlemania with this fresh lineup.
