We have entered the 2019 fall which in general sets up the big things for the new year. Royal Rumble kicks things off which also marks the beginning of preparation for WrestleMania season.

With that being said, the creative team has started planning for the biggest event of the year and it looks like Roman Reigns will be playing a key role in the mix. Perhaps, he is going back to secure the top spot after a one year gap.

5 stars who will miss Crown Jewel

As reported by Slice Wrestling, ‘WWE is discussing for Roman Reigns to possibly become the top dog of the company.’ This could very well mean that he might end up winning the WWE Championship in due course. Triple H not returning to in-ring action

Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar are the respective champions on Raw and SmackDown, respectively which the fans may not be very thrilled about.

Seth Rollins Universal Title run is now considered as a failure as the fans are constantly booing him nowadays. Also, he was not amongst the top 5 merchandise sellers.

The fans are also not exactly enthusiastic about Brock Lesnar’s title run with the way he ended Kofi Kingston’s WWE Championship run. So the company needs a top crowd-puller champion and Roman Reigns may be the answer they are in search of.

This also makes Roman Reigns the current favorite to win the 2020 Royal Rumble match. According to betting odds released by Sky Bet, “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns is the favorite to win the prestigious men’s edition of the match. We received an actual initial list of the superstars. Here are the top favorite to win this match, as per the source,

Almost one year ago, Roman Reigns announced that his Leukemia returned after 11 years. This forced him to vacate the Universal Championship and go into a hiatus that lasted for almost four months.

Despite coming back to competition within WrestleMania 35, WWE did not put Roman Reigns back into the main event picture, till now. With the biggest event approaching once again, this might be the perfect time to bring the four-time main-eventer back where he belongs.
