WWE News: Shane McMahon Teamed Up With The Miz On Smackdown

Shane McMahon appeared on The Miz TV as a special guest.

Smackdown Live came up with the worst performance of all time in this year’s Survivor Series. Monday Night Raw was victorious in each of the matches that took place on the main show. The only consolation prize for Smackdown was the tag team elimination match win from the kick-off show. But WWE never counted it.

Confirmed schedule of Survivor Series 2019

So the score remained 6-0 in favor of Team Raw. Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, Seth Rollins, and AOP were the winners in their respective matches. Also, the men and women’s roster scored dominant victories over the Smackdown roster in the traditional Survivor Series tag team elimination matches.

Well, it was evident that Team Raw took a sweet redemption after Shane McMahon got away with the World Cup Trophy at WWE Crown Jewel. The authority figures were quite happy about this. But the Smackdown commissioner was in a totally contrary mood and hinted there would be some changes before the show aired last night.

However, he did not announce anything special as a penalty to the Smackdown superstars. Rather, he appeared on The Miz TV as a special guest. As we all know that The Miz was the sole team captain from Smackdown at this year’s Survivor Series. So he can’t escape the blame of his bandwagon coming up short. As expected, he tried to butter up Shane McMahon on the must-see show.

The Miz mentioned that how he and Shane McMahon brought the world cup on Smackdown from Crown Jewel. They acted as a team like co-besties. So they might start teaming up on a permanent basis from now on. He also insisted on having a match right there on the show as the crowd cheered them on. Smackdown commissioner was not sure about this considering his authoritative role on the show.

But a local team named Bryant Brothers walked into the ring to start the match, indeed. This marked a match featuring Shane McMahon on Smackdown after more than a decade. However, The Miz did not give his boss a chance to compete. He was trying to imitate the shuffling moves of Shane when one half of the Bryant Brothers rolled him up for the win. Although The Miz felt sorry for the loss, there should be repercussions for his actions in the upcoming weeks.
