WWE News: NXT Female Superstars Getting An All-Women Show Later This Year

WWE fans must be disappointed with the fact that the company is not giving them the much-anticipated Evolution pay-per-view event in Saudi Arabia. There were many speculations about this criticality acclaimed event to find its way to the schedule.

Unfortunately, the creative team failed to insert the show in the 2019 calendar. But WWE may be giving away an alternative event for this show in the form of NXT.

As per the reports of ringsidenews.com, the December 5th NXT house show in Jacksonville Florida will be a female special show. Only female superstars of the developmental brand will be performing on this show.

The NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler was pretty excited about making this announcement in the recent bygone Jacksonville, Florida house show.

This is going to be the first all-female event in WWE since the Evolution pay-per-view, last year. Whereas this could pump up the fans, the drawback would be mainstay female names of the WWE will not be able to perform in this show. Plus, this won’t be a televised show by any means. Fans could not. It’s unclear why WWE didn’t hold another all-women event this year on TV, though.

Reports were available that WWE was planning to host another Mae Young Classic for 2019. But the company later said the advertisement about a 2019 Mae Young Classic was made in error.

After the initial success of the first two editions, we expected a third one to be on the pipeline, for sure. But WWE soon nixed the planning around the show to disappoint the female superstars.

Initially, ringsidenews.com noted that Mae Young Classic III was set to be taped at Full Sail Arena in November, but that won’t be the case, anymore. WWE pulled the show despite a release going out about the event which indicates there may have been a backstage plan, indeed.

Later, Casey Michael confirmed that NXT had no knowledge of this tournament. Whatever is the case, it’s really not appreciated the way WWE decided to leave out the all-women show despite having the first-ever Women’s WrestleMania main event, earlier this year.
