Jeff Hardy joined Miz TV on the opening segment of SmackDown where Miz and Morrison taunted Hardy over his rivalry against Sheamus.
Miz proposed a Bar Fight at Extreme Rules for him against Sheamus in a rematch from Backlash. Hardy accepted the fight and attacked both Miz and Morrison to set up the first match of the night.

Jeff Hardy competed against The Miz on SmackDown where he executed the pendant atomic drop followed by the basement dropkick. He went to the top rope when Sheamus appeared on the big screen to provide a distraction. Miz tried to roll Hardy up but countered with his own roll-up to get the victory.
