The most interesting storyline over on WWE Raw during the fall of 2019 was carried forward to 2020, too. Viewership went up for the flagship show as a dramatic relationship unfolded featuring Bobby Lashley, Lana, and Rusev.
The romantic love triangle might have come to a halt, all of a sudden as we have not seen much of Rusev on TV. Plus, Lana also missed this past episode of WWE Raw.

As noted by wrestlingINC.com, Lana was not at this past episode of WWE RAW at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York as she’s filming a new movie project.

Later, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter provided a report saying that Lana was filming the movie with veteran actor Bruce Willis. This is definitely not the first time that the Ravishing Russian is doing a movie.
Lana posted some gorgeous snaps of herself from Atlanta, Georgia as the speculations of filming got seemingly indicated. Some of the details on the project or her role have been disclosed by the source which goes as follows,
“This was not confirmed as the movie Lana is working on, but Willis is currently in Atlanta, Georgia filming a new movie called “Run of The Hitman,” about a hitman who loses his daughter after being abandoned by his country. The hitman’s past is wiped from his memory by a covert government agency, and the film follows him as he stops at nothing to get his daughter back.”

In some of the photos on Instagram, Lana mentioned being a “deadly assassin” and “the baddest assassin.” So she could be playing a role which could have a badass role. But nothing is assured, as of now.
Previously, there were speculations that the ongoing love triangle featuring Bobby Lashley, Lana and Rusev may produce a huge match at Wrestlemania 36. But that match seemed to be off from the card as no progression in the storyline was noticed.
Rusev is also said to be having a contract dispute with the WWE which could be a big bar in planning this bout. We have to wait and see whether the angle continues once Elimination Chamber 2020 passes by.
