WWE Survivor Series 2018 Review & Twitter Reaction: November 18, 2018

WWE Raw swept victories over Smackdown for three straight years at Survivor Series.

Do the fans love to say that Smackdown Live is the A-show? Well, the officials proved them wrong once again as WWE Raw swept victories for three straight years. The humiliation was, even more, this year as the score stands 6-0 in favor of the red brand at Survivor Series. The night started with the women’s division tag team elimination match in which Nia Jax made the difference.

She was receiving negative reactions due to the stiff punch at Becky Lynch on WWE Raw. So the creative team made her the sole survivor on behalf of her brand to garner more of the heats. We wondered whether she receives punishment from the officials as a result of the backstage heat. But she ended up getting a reward at Survivor Series that caught the eyes of the fans. Good times should continue for her on WWE Raw, going forward.

Smackdown suffered even worse fate during the men’s division tag team elimination match. Braun Strowman was on the side of WWE Raw who turned out to be a reckless machine. Four eliminations belonged to him courtesy of Running Powerslams giving a smooth win to Team Red. It ensured a future championship opportunity alongside the ongoing rivalry against Baron Corbin. The acting GM took a cheap shot on the monster continuing the same before leaving the ring at Survivor Series.

The most physical match of this year’s Survivor Series happened between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair. They gave each other some ruthless beating before the latter one disqualified herself. It was a way to protect The Queen from digesting a clean loss at the hands of the ‘baddest woman on the planet’. Plus, these attacks ensured that Charlotte will eventually get a rematch against Rousey in the future.

The main event of Survivor Series featured Brock Lesnar against Daniel Bryan. We did not see a chance for the latter one as the war began. But it was Bryan’s credits that he managed to hang on with the beast for a decent amount of time. The Universal Champion eventually put Bryan away with an emphatic F-5 to close the show as the era of the beast continues.

It was overall a good edition of Survivor Series that came up with plenty of fights on the card. Here are the Twitter reactions from the show.
