Brock Lesnar is the alpha male of the WWE roster for a long-time whose presence on TV is a mega attraction for the fans. The thought of getting a female counterpart of that character could be a brilliant idea is executed well. Apparently, a veteran name, Beth Phoenix wanted to portray that character. However, WWE never executed that plan on their TV.

The WWE Hall of Famer has revealed an interesting idea she pitched to senior producer Michael Hayes during her time as an extra with the company. Apparently, she wanted to be the little sister of Brock Lesnar.

The 40-year-old superstar made the revelation on Twitter. She said she came up with a detailed storyline about how the company could introduce her on TV as the younger sibling to The Beast Incarnate.

“Fun Fact: At one of my first gigs as a @WWE extra I pitched a detailed storyline to Michael Hayes to be brought in as Brock Lesnar’s sister. I had ZERO CHILL.”

Phoenix wanted to debut a gimmick resembling Brock Lesnar

Beth Phoenix joined WWE’s old development territory of OVW in 2004, the same year, Brock Lesnar left the company. She debuted on OVW TV in July 2004 as the on-screen girlfriend and valet of Chris Masters. Following the short-lived storyline, she was repackaged as the manager of Aaron “The Idol” Stevens (Damien Sandow).

The relationship between Brock Lesnar and WWE was downgraded following the departure of the superstar which could be a reason why the company must haven’t liked the idea of introducing a female version of the former world champion.

Phoenix would eventually make her WWE main roster debut in 2006 and left WWE the same year Brock Lesnar made his highly-anticipated return in 2012. That stint still continues for the Minnesota-billed athlete who continues to rule the WWE territory.

Following her induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017, Beth Phoenix joined NXT as a part-time color commentator. She also appears in sporadic wrestling appearances (like Women’s Royal Rumble matches) for WWE in addition to working as a full-time commentator on NXT 2.0. Brock Lesnar is currently absent from WWE TV but he vows to make a comeback on next month’s Hollywood special episode of Smackdown.
