The annual spring cleaning is going in full force as ten WWE superstars have been let go of their job. In multiple official statements, WWE has announced that they have released multiple existing roster members in the past few hours. Mojo Rawley is the latest of them who is no more under WWE contract.
Rawley first signed as a WWE Superstar in 2012 while he made his main roster debut on the SmackDown brand in 2016. Rawley last wrestled on SmackDown on June 15 of last year, losing to Shorty G. His highest accomplishment remains winning Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy at WrestleMania 33 in 2017.
Samoa Joe, Peyton Royce, Bo Dallas, Mickie James, Billie Kay, Chelsea Green, Kalisto, Wesley Blake, and Tucker have also been released by WWE. As always the short official statement wished them the best in their future endeavors. There is no confirmed update on what led to the release of these WWE Superstars but we ought to believe that post-WrestleMania roster cleaning is in progress.

Samoa Joe was last seen in action in February 2020 but he was on TV with the RAW commentary team while recovering from injuries. He was removed from the RAW team this past Monday following his duties at WrestleMania 37 when Corey Graves and newcomer Adnan Virk were added to the team. Joe has been signed with WWE since May 2015.
Peyton Royce was also with the WWE since April 2015 while she last wrestled on the March 22 episode RAW, losing to Asuka. As for her former tag team partner Billie Kay, she was signed alongside Royce. Kay last wrestled as a WWE Superstar in the Tag Team Turmoil match on Night One of WrestleMania 37, teaming with Carmella.

Bo Dallas, the former NXT Champion had not wrestled since the WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view in October 2019. It was recently reported that he was preparing for life after wrestling as he would get into the real estate business and farming he shares with Liv Morgan. Dallas had been a WWE Superstar since 2008.
Kalisto was seen in the 2021 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on last week’s SmackDown while he was absent from TV for a major part of the past couple of years. WWE signed him back in May 2013. Tucker was a part of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown. He was also signed by WWE in late 2013.
Chelsea Green signed as a WWE Superstar in 2018 and was called up to SmackDown right before the Survivor Series 2020 but she suffered a wrist injury during the debut match to get written off TV. Wesley Blake had been with WWE since June 2013 while his last match competed in a Fatal 4 Way at the Money In the Bank 2020 pay-per-view. Back in December, he played the role of one of the Knights of King Baron Corbin.
Veteran Mickie James last wrestled as a WWE Superstar in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match this past January while she worked the Kickoff pre-show panel for Night One and Night Two of the WWE NXT “Takeover: Stand and Deliver” during WrestleMania week. James signed a multi-year contract with WWE in 2016.
