A WWE UK pay-per-view is coming in 2022
A WWE UK pay-per-view has been speculated for a long time, now. It was previously reported that there have been talks of hosting the 2022 SummerSlam event at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, but it was also informed that talks of holding a September pay-per-view in the UK have been ongoing, probably at a different stadium outside of Wales. Latest reports claim that the officials might have selected a date in September for the particular show.
One of the top superstars of WWE and UK-native Drew McIntyre has revealed in past interviews that there were plans for him to face Boxing Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury at WWE UK pay-per-view in 2020. But obviously, those plans were canceled due to COVID-19. Obviously, this bout could be re-planned if WWE indeed heads back to the United Kingdom for a PPV show.
