Rey Mysterio’s family is making consecutive appearances on Monday Night Raw which includes the veteran’s daughter Aalyah Mysterio. It’s interesting to note that WWE might have something interesting planned for her in the upcoming weeks as teased during this week’s episode. She could get involved in a romantic angle with The Messiah’s disciple.
Seth Rollins defeated Dominik in an intense steel cage match on Raw this week. After the match, Rollins targeted his own partner Murphy by beating him down at ringside. He smashed Murphy against the barricade as he seemingly failed him during the match.

As Seth Rollins was leaving, he made a comment to Mysterio’s wife, Angie Mysterio that he hopes “she turns out better than your son,” referring to Aalyah Mysterio. Murphy was seen lying down by the stairs after the match as Rey’s wife and daughter got in the ring.

While Angie went straight to attend Dominik inside the steel cage, Aalyah Mysterio knelt down and put her hand on Dominik’s arm. This was a sympathetic gesture that was noticed by all the fans who were watching the show. Things happen in WWE for a reason and this one seems to be a possible tease for a love angle between the duo.

On a related note, Murphy was victimized by the Mysterio family, last week after the main event match with Dominik. Rey, Angie, and Aalyah Mysterio beat him down with Kendo Stick. He digested 86 shots of that weapon that might still be hurting her. Aalyah was perhaps not very happy after memorizing that torturous acts. Meanwhile, the internet wrestling community is busy finding out what’s going on between her and Murphy.
We should note that the 19-year-old isn’t making her first WWE appearance through this storyline, though. Aalyah Mysterio appeared on WWE TV when she was younger, back in the last decade via segments on SmackDown in 2010.
As you can see in the video given below, Aalyah Mysterio waited backstage with WWE Diva Tiffany while Rey Mysterio gave her an action figure and advised her to watch his match on television. Later, she also made an in-ring appearance alongside the rest of the Mysterio family on the March 12, 2010 episode of SmackDown.
It’ll be interesting to see Aalyah Mysterio be involved in a love angle on WWE Raw. But in real life, she is already committed to someone unknown. She could be seen sharing frames on Instagram with her ‘forever dinner’ partner.
