During the latest episode of AEW Dynamite a big match was announced for AEW Battle of the Belts II event. It was confirmed that Thunder Rosa will put her newly won AEW Women’s World Championship on the line against Nyla Rose. This would mark the champions’ first title defense since winning it from the former champion Britt Baker in a main event match for the St. Patrick’s Day slam in early March in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas.
Rosa and Nyla will go one-on-one at the upcoming AEW Battle of the Belts special that will be taped on April 15. The two have been feuding ever since Rosa came out for a Championship celebration on a recent episode of Dynamite following her title win. She was quickly interrupted by Nyla’s manager, Vickie Guerrero before getting laid out by “The Native Beast” in Nyla.
