Next week’s edition of AEW Dynamite will feature two matches, including a tag team action which may very well decide the future of The Inner Circle. The top faction may very well end up deciding the fate of the top faction, Jericho will be teaming with Jake Hagar in a tag team bout against Santana and Ortiz.
During last night’s AEW Dynamite, Ortiz mentioned in a meeting how Eddie Kingston is one of their brothers in arms. So next week, Santana and Ortiz vs. Chris Jericho and Jake Hagar is the way they might want to settle things. They are likely to “settle this s**t once and for all” via this matchup. Jericho never wanted to go things like this but now he’ll give them a beating if that’s what they want.

Grudge Match set for AEW Dynamite
Next Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite will also feature a no DQ, a grudge match between Thunder Rosa and Mercedes Martinez.
The rivalry between these two has been ongoing for over a month, now after Martinez cost Rosa her match against Jade Cargill in the AEW TBS Title Tournament on December 29 during the New Year’s Smash episode of AEW Dynamite. Martinez attacked Rosa on that night while making her debut in the company.
Cargill won that match and also went on to become the inaugural AEW TBS champion while the feud between Rosa and Martinez continued between the two women. They would compete on the February 2 edition of Rampage but it would witness a DQ end since Martinez would be disqualified in that match.

Apart from AEW Dynamite, Rosa and Martinez also wrestled on December 12 show hosted at the Warrior Wrestling #17 event in Tinley Park, Illinois. That match saw Rosa retaining her Warrior Wrestling Women’s Title over Martinez.
They also performed at WrestleCade Revenge on November 27 in Winston-Salem, NC, in a Triple Threat that also included AAA Reina de Reinas and ROH Women’s World Champion Deonna Purrazzo. Plus, the feud also went through the 2CW’s Older, Fatter, Balder event on October 1 in Syracuse, New York. On both occasions, Rose won.
The card for the February 16 episode of AEW Dynamite stands as follows,
