Next week’s AEW Dynamite will also witness the return of the original TNT Champion, Cody Rhodes. It was previously announced that Cody Rhodes and his family have been quarantined as they recover from COVID-19. But it seems like the recovery process is going well and it’s good to book him for next week’s show.

Cody Rhodes missed last week’s AEW Battle Of The Belts event due to testing positive for COVID-19. He was originally supposed to defend the TNT Championship in a rematch with Sammy Guevara. Instead, Cody’s brother Dustin Rhodes competed against Guevara to determine an interim TNT Champion. Guevera won that match to win the title for the time being. The two will likely continue their ongoing rivalry by determining who the undisputed TNT Champion is when Cody returns on AEW Dynamite.
