Weeks of speculations regarding WWE Hall of Famer became true after Edge became an ALL ELITE at the AEW WrestleDream 2023 pay-per-view. The legendary professional wrestler made his dream debut for All Elite Wrestling by his real name Adam Copeland and formed a dream alliance to turn on his lifelong bestie, Christian Cage.

In the main event of AEW WrestleDream 2023, Christian Cage (c) defeated Darby Allin in a 2-Out-Of-3 Falls Match to retain the TNT Championship with the score being 2-1 in his favor.

Darby won the first fall in the PPV that took place in his hometown of Seattle, Washington, and Christian won the second fall via count-out after he slammed Darby on the steel ring steps. This move also took out Darby as he was stretchered out of the arena. But Christian delivered a frog splash on him on top of the stretcher to restart the match at AEW WrestleDream 2023.

Christian then ripped the padding of the ring and hit his pendant Killswitch finisher on Darby on the wooden ring floor, but Darby kicked out. Then the veteran low-blowed Darby and also tried to use the TNT Title, but Nick Wayne snatched it away from him. Eventually, Nick turned heel on Darby out of nowhere he hit him with the title. This allowed Christian to pin Darby to secure the third fall and retain his title at AEW WrestleDream 2023.

AEW WrestleDream 2023: Edge saves Sting from a beatdown

After the match was over, Christian and Nick kept on attacking Darby which led to Sting coming out to make the save. But Luchasaurus joined the two heels to deliver an assault on the veteran. Christian was about to hit the Con-Chair-To move on Sting, but the lights went out. WWE Hall of Famer Edge’s Metalingus theme song started playing as came at AEW WrestleDream 2023.

AEW commentators introduced him as Adam Copeland instead of Edge but he was also addressed as the Rated-R Superstar. Edge was supposed to join Christian but he turned on him and attacked Nick and Luchasauras with a steel chair. After putting out the two heels with two Spears, Edge shook hands with Darby and Sting to end AEW WrestleDream 2023.
