Smackdown aired last night with one burning question as to who is the person to attack Roman Reigns for a couple of times which could have been life-threatening. We witnessed the Big Dog cutting a promo at backstage vowing that he will get an answer by the end of the show, last night. We waited till the main event of Smackdown to know more about it where Daniel Bryan and Rowan ambushed Big E and Xavier Woods. The camera then took us to the backstage area as we saw Roman Reigns charging Buddy Murphy to know the name of the mystery attacker.

Roman Reigns emptied the entire men’s locker room so to make Murphy confess about it but he still denied to do so. This led to an attack on Murphy by Reigns as the former Cruiserweight Champion finally revealed that it was Rowan. But he’s not sure whether Daniel Bryan also accompanied him or not. The camera then focussed on Bryan and Rowan who has now become the alleged attacker of the Big Dog. We expect to know more on this on this Sunday’s Summerslam.

The situation around Roman Reigns has been quite interesting since last week’s Smackdown. He avoided a disaster after a forklift mishap that almost crushed him within steel beams. Announcer Kayla Braxton screamed out that helped The Big Dog to get out of the way. Later updates suggested it was a mishap but some of the locker room members were suspected for this.

Samoa Joe was on top of the list since he is within a rivalry against Roman Reigns en route to Summerslam. So the general speculation was that he’s desperate to hurt his opponent with an assault. However, what happened on WWE Raw clarified that he was not guilty. So the hunt to find out Roman Reigns mystery attacker continued. WWE.com hinted that we may find out something about the concerned person’s identity on Smackdown,

“The Samoan Shark seemingly had his name cleared in shocking fashion, as a speeding car rocketed past Joe and collided with Reigns’ ride as he was exiting. The Big Dog was shaken up, but WWE.com learned that he narrowly avoided permanent injury and has been released to appear for SmackDown LIVE. Though Reigns may be fine, the shocking incident has left the WWE Universe asking who would attack The Big Dog and why. Will we discover any more information on SmackDown LIVE?”

Well, we did not receive any definite answer to the question but at least WWE gave a hint of who could be the mastermind behind the attack. We now expect Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan to have a sure-shot face-off at Summerslam 2019.
