WWE Champion Bobby Lashley had a reunion with his former buddy and another legendary WWE Superstar Batista. The two have reportedly run into each other at what looks like in the Meat Market Steakhouse in Tampa, Florida. Later, The Dominator shared the meet with a social media post containing a number of photos.

The All-Mighty Champion posted those photos with Batista while also noting a potential in-ring fight between the two. He openly granted a title shot to Batista if the latter would consider an in-ring return,

“So good seeing my good friend @davebautista. And Yes I will give you a title shot if you ever return! [smile emoji] [fist emoji]. Nevertheless Congrats on all your successes brotha,” Lashley wrote.

Till now, no response has been received from Batista to Lashley’s comments. He’s not probably interested in making a return to the squared circle considering how busy he is these days with his Hollywood career. The WrestleMania 35 showdown with Triple H admittedly wrapped up his career, for good. The Animal has shown no intention of coming back after such a grand farewell.

Bobby Lashley and Batista teamed up and worked several multi-person matches back in 2006 on the SmackDown brand. While Lashley was an emerging talent, the latter already established himself as a top-tier talent in the company. Their only singles match on WWE TV happened on October 6, 2006, SmackDown show. The referee ruled that match a No Contest due to outside interferences. Basically, the two giant figures never had a proper feud.

WWE Hall Of Fame 2021 ceremony aired on April 6th where inductees from Class Of 2020 and Class Of 2021 received the honor of entering the prestigious club. (The ceremony was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic). In late 2019, Batista was announced to be the headliner for the WWE Hall Of Fame Class Of 2020, but later WWE pulled his name from the official website.

Upon visiting the preview page of the Hall of Fame ceremony fans could spot the following message,

“You are not authorized to access this page.”

According to Fightful Select, WWE Officials wanted Batista to have his Hall Of Fame induction with live fans in attendance. This is the reason that they have pushed back his Hall of Fame induction, for now.
