FOX announced Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley for the SmackDown women’s Championship for the main event of last night to hype up the show. It was last Sunday where these two competed at Hell in a Cell PPV event. Charlotte defeated Bayley to win the title for a record tenth time to go one more way to become the greatest female superstar to step foot in the WWE. Unfortunately, her reign came to a sudden end to the challenger who appeared on SmackDown with a completely new makeover.

Bayley was determined to remove her Hugger persona appearing on last night’s show. She came out with a new haircut and attire that we have never seen. Plus, WWE provided her a new theme song to set up a new feel to her entrance. In addition to that, she used an ax-handle clubbed with blades to slaughter the Bayley-buddies while entering the ring. This brought out a total obnoxiousness for her character as the match began against Charlotte Flair on SmackDown.

Charlotte hit the Moonsault and some of her pendant submission moves on Bayley but ultimately the challenger prevailed in the following manner, (courtesy WWE.com)

“The unrelenting challenger connected with a Bayley-to-Belly, but Flair found the strength to kick out. Charlotte fired back with a flurry of offense to put Bayley back on her heels. However, in the critical moments, Charlotte connected with Natural Selection, but Bayley somehow mustered the strength to grab two fist-fulls of hair and roll her up to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.”

After the match, Bayley showed more of an outrageous version of herself as we have never seen before. A heel promo followed on SmackDown comprising some cuss words addressing the WWE Universe that buried her Hugger gimmick, completely. The meanest heel stood tall to close the show as the audience was still recovering from the shock.
