Becky Lynch went through a forbidden rule set by her Wrestlemania challenger and thereby learned a hard lesson. She competed in a tag team match and touched Bianca Belair’s braid despite being denied. As a result, she went on to get whiplashed in the belly with the braid.
Once this week’s episode of WWE Raw went off the air, Becky Lynch proudly displayed the nasty scars on her belly that she received after being on the receiving end of a Bianca Belair hair whip.
The Raw Women’s Champion took to Twitter after the live telecast of the show to share a close-up shot of several welts on her abdomen. Becky Lynch would also proceed to refer to Belair’s hair as an “an illegal weapon.” She also proceeded to send a warning to her WrestleMania 38 opponent via the following statement,
“This is not a Wrestlemania preview. This is the barbaric use of an illegal weapon . At Wrestlemania I was going to beat you. But now, I will beat the s–t out of you…. And then beat you.”
Belair also responded to the tweet by advising her that she shouldn’t tough her hair, ever again.

Becky Lynch suffered a loss on Raw
Becky Lynch competed in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match featuring herself, Doudrop, and Nikki A.S.H. vs. Belair, Liv Morgan, and Rhea Ripley. The latter won the match after Belair hit the KOD on Nikki for a second time to gain the pinfall win. Becky initially stopped Belair to get the pin attempt with the hair to receive the whiplash.
As confirmed by the WWE, Becky Lynch vs. Belair will take place on Night One of Wrestlemania 38 with the Raw Women’s Title hanging in the balance. Recently, BetOnline provided the latest betting odds for the ‘Mania card in which we learned that the challenger is the absolute favorite to emerge as the winner in the title match.
Meanwhile, Bianca Belair is listed as a -140 (5/7) favorite to beat Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship while the champion has +100 (1/1) odds by her name. In case, Belair does emerge as the winner then she will make history by winning Raw and Smackdown Women’s title on back-to-back Wrestlemanias.
