Big E is no more with the New Day faction in the WWE. He is a member of the SmackDown brand while Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were sent to Raw during the 2020 WWE Draft. Over on blue brand, E got his own solo entrance and theme that is pretty unique from the current RAW Tag Team Champions. There’s a big reason behind the recent changes made to New Day’s muscle.

Apparently, WWE is slowly preparing Big E as a top singles superstar who could act as a babyface star. Daniel Bryan is said to be the ‘driving force’ behind his push. Bryan is reportedly working as one of the creative team members of SmackDown from earlier this summer. He wants to establish some of the young superstars and E seems to be one of them.

So, these two could eventually end up sharing the ring at the Show of Shows. WWFOldSchool.com has been told that WWE is planning a rivalry between Big E and Daniel Bryan. This match could happen at WrestleMania 37 and for the prestigious Intercontinental Championship. This would just be a process where E could make a name for himself by beating veteran Bryan.

As per the current storyline, the next feud for the Intercontinental Championship is going to be between Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn. The champion Zayn was pinned by Bryan in a 6-Man Tag Team match on this past week’s SmackDown. This match was dedicated to the late great WWE Hall of Famer Pat Patterson.

Although not confirmed, it is supposed that Daniel Bryan vs. Zayn is set to happen at some point. Probably, they could be booked in a match at TLC with the OC title hanging in balance. It’s likely that Bryan will win the Title there and carry it all the way until WrestleMania 37 where Big E will be waiting for him as his challenger.

The plan moving into 2021 would be that Big E will begin a feud with Bryan for that Intercontinental Championship. He would go on to win it, as Bryan would be putting over Big E in a big way. Vince McMahon is also likely backing up this program as he’s a supporter of E. So this could be a big opportunity for E unless The Boss slash down the program, all of a sudden.
