Bray Wyatt made his much-anticipated return to the WWE after a long wait at the Extreme Rules 2022 premium live event on October 8. After the main event match between Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle inside the Fight Pit, the arena went dark and he came out to the end of the show. All of his entourage was also accompanying him, sending chills to the WWE Universe.
Two nights later on Raw, Bray Wyatt stated the following,
“I used to think that the prison inside my head was the only place that I could ever truly be free. Revel in what you are.”

Then on the October 14 edition, the Eater of the World appeared for the first time on weekly television on Friday Night SmackDown in nearly two years. Moving on, he could be involved in a massive angle targeting Survivor Series 2022.
According to PWInsider, Bray Wyatt will be a member of the blue brand, moving forward. There’re reasons why he’s been added to the SmackDown roster. WWE was long dealing with an issue of lack of credible babyface names challengers for Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns on the show. Drew McIntyre was the only top babyface name on Smackdown for the entire 2022.

Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns program expected on Smackdown in the near future
Now, Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, and the recently turned babyface Sheamus have been added to the list. With that, future title matches featuring these superstars are expected against Roman Reigns. Xero News also added that WWE is planning to do The Bloodline vs. Team Wyatt at Survivor Series 2022 in a tag team match as one of the headliners of the premium live event.
Nothing was revealed on whether this match will be contested inside the WarGames structure. In case, this match is indeed in WWE’s pipeline then at some point, Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt for the Undisputed Title will also happen. For the time being, Reigns will continue to be involved in the buildup for his title match against Logan Paul at Crown Jewel.
Old School WWF Veteran IRS (Mike Rotunda), Bray Wyatt’s father, tweeted the following about his son’s return, indicating big things could be in store for him in the future,
“Great to see my son back in WWE, but nobody is safe come April. Better have those taxes in order Bray! #PayUp”
Survivor Series 2022 premium live event takes place Saturday, November 26 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts and to date, no match lineup has been revealed.
