Brock Lesnar has come up short in the biggest match of all time in WWE history at Wrestlemania 38 against Roman Reigns. The Tribal Chief finally picked up a win against his biggest rival in what appeared to be the most important match of both men’s careers. While the winner proceeded to rule the roost with dual titles around his shoulder, the other is on hiatus from WWE programming.

After a long hiatus from Wrestlemania 36, Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE television last year during the SummerSlam 2020 PPV event. He went on to begin a feud with Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman playing a key part in the program. Since that summer return, Lesnar has been a regular name on WWE TV except for a week or two’s no-showing.

But it appears that at least a month’s absence is waiting for him, for the time being. According to the Wrestling Observer, Brock Lesnar is still scheduled for the upcoming WWE Premium Live Event to be hosted by the WWE, that’s Wrestlemania Backlash 2022. Hence, it’s likely that the top attraction will be on WWE TV within or next month, itself,

“Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey are both scheduled for WrestleMania Backlash next month, but the Roman Reigns/Brock Lesnar program is considered over.”
