Brock Lesnar has come up short in the biggest match of all time in WWE history at Wrestlemania 38 against Roman Reigns. The Tribal Chief finally picked up a win against his biggest rival in what appeared to be the most important match of both men’s careers. While the winner proceeded to rule the roost with dual titles around his shoulder, the other is on hiatus from WWE programming.
After a long hiatus from Wrestlemania 36, Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE television last year during the SummerSlam 2020 PPV event. He went on to begin a feud with Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman playing a key part in the program. Since that summer return, Lesnar has been a regular name on WWE TV except for a week or two’s no-showing.

But it appears that at least a month’s absence is waiting for him, for the time being. According to the Wrestling Observer, Brock Lesnar is still scheduled for the upcoming WWE Premium Live Event to be hosted by the WWE, that’s Wrestlemania Backlash 2022. Hence, it’s likely that the top attraction will be on WWE TV within or next month, itself,
“Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey are both scheduled for WrestleMania Backlash next month, but the Roman Reigns/Brock Lesnar program is considered over.”

Speaking of WrestleMania Backlash 2022, Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey in an “I Quit” match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship has been made official for the upcoming event. While nothing much has been announced, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Sasha Banks are advertised to make appearances on the show.
Since his Summerslam 2021 return, Brock Lesnar has had quite a successful stint in the WWE. He won the WWE Championship twice, to become a ten-time overall world champion in WE history. Besides, he won the Men’s Royal Rumble match for the second time in his career, competed in his 1st ever Elimination Chamber match, and won it.
Alongside main-evetnting Wrestlemania 38 against Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar also Bobby Lashley in a dream match at Royal Rumble 2022 but he lost the WWE Championship to Universal Champion Roman Reigns at the biggest event of the year. This marked his second straight loss to Reigns after Crown Jewel 2021.
