Brock Lesnar showed no remorse to his familiar opponent on last night’s WWE Raw. He pounced on Seth Rollins in such a way that there’s a question mark put on the latter’s Summerslam status. Originally, Rollins squared off in the main event match of the show hosted by Little Rock against Dolph Ziggler. He was in full control of the match by countering a Zig-Zag with a Superkick.

Trish Stratus Return Confirmed on Smackdown, Women’s Champion Wants Match Against Her
Sooner he was tuning up the band for a Stomp when Brock Lesnar appeared on the scene to hit him with a German Suplex. The referee called off the match as an F-5 followed into the ring post to hurt Seth Rollins in a bad way. But that was no it as the F-5s rained down onto a chair courtesy of the Universal Champions. Rollins was bleeding from the mouth as EMTs were taking him to the hospital. But Brock Lesnar was not over with his attack and delivered another F-5 on him on a stretcher to finish the attack!

WWE hyped up this week’s episode of WWE Raw announcing the main event match a couple of days ago. The preview released for this week’s edition showed a matchup between Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler. It was a cross-brand affair where the Raw-resident took on against the blue brand member via the Wild Card Rule. There was a far big reason why WWE did sanction the match though as stated below, (courtesy WWE.com)
“The spirit of Raw Reunion carried over onto SmackDown LIVE when Shawn Michaels stopped by “Miz TV,” but the good vibes only lasted for a few minutes before Dolph Ziggler appeared and blasted the two-time Hall of Famer with a superkick right to the jaw. As reported by The Wrap, Seth Rollins — who got the benefit of DX backup against AJ Styles last week — seems to have stepped up in defense of The Heartbreak Kid, with a bout for The Showoff set on Raw.”

As you can see, Seth Rollins had more than enough reason to be irate and give a beatdown to the annoying Ziggler to the delight of the WWE crowd. But the host venue has locally confirmed that Brock Lesnar will be present on the show that was not a piece of good news for the number one contender for the Universal Champion. In the end, it turned out to be the worst night of the year for the Architect just days prior to Summerslam.
