As declared earlier, WWE saw a beast returning to Houston, Texas, to battle the former WWE world heavyweight champion Sheamus turning the town to Suplex City. Accompanied to the ringside was as always his advocate Paul Heyman. Sheamus tweeted early it will not be so easy to take him to Suplex city but the result was same as he felt the same wrath by the beast incarnate.

The match went about 10 minutes and was described as very physical. At one point Lesnar bled during the match and hit almost a dozen suplexes on Sheamus throughout the bout. The finish came when Lesnar hit the F5 for the win. Below are matched photos.

In related news, an injured John Cena was replaced tonight by Chris Jericho, who defeated WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio in a non-title match in the night’s opening match.

The cenation leader was not available due to his shoulder injury and that was refunded by a returning Chris Jericho who got a huge pop. Rest of the match card is as follows:

Ryback defeated Rusev with Shellshocked in an average match

R-Truth defeated Heath Slater in a throw-away match and comedy segment, really just bad filler and a waste of time, or a bathroom break if you didn’t go earlier

Kalisto and El Torito defeated Los Matadores in a good comedy match

Dolph Ziggler defeated Tyler Breeze in a great match. This seemed like one of the longer matches of the night but they worked well together. Ziggler won with a superkick

Brie bella defeated Tamina Snuka with Summer Rae as special referee. Alicia Fox was at ringside with Brie but there was no sign of Sasha Banks or Naomi. Tamina controlled the match while fans chanted for Sasha. Tamina and Summer had words, leading to Summer pushing Tamina into Brie’s finisher

* WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose defeated Kevin Owens in an awesome street fight. Owens powerbombed Ambrose through the table but Ambrose came back and hit Dirty Deeds on a bunch of debris for the win.
