There have been speculations over the absence of Charlotte Flair in the recent weeks from WWE programming. Now, it’s been let known that she has tested positive for COVID-19. There’s no update on when Charlotte Flair will be back, there’s a chance that she could possibly be appearing on this Friday’s SmackDown on FOX episode. She has been rumored for a WrestleMania 37 match with RAW Women’s Champion Asuka, but that singles match is definitely not in the works.

Rhea Ripley debuted on Raw, this week, mentioning how Charlotte Flair recently challenged Asuka while Asuka was out recovering from a tooth injury. Ripley then mentioned that Flair isn’t there on Raw as she’s recovering from COVID-19. Now Ripley will be the one to challenge Asuka for the Women’s Title, it seems.

Charlotte Flair is expected to get cleared within a few days
In more news from this situation, former WWE Superstar Andrade has apparently tweeted that his fiancée Charlotte Flair will be cleared to compete from COVID-19, four days later. Andrade responded to Flair’s tweet and indicated that she might get medically cleared to compete in 4 days. El-Idolo also indicated the chatter over WWE removing Flair from the WrestleMania 37 ticket posters,
“4 more days, and you clear #mami I hope and go back to the wrestlemania poster,” he wrote.

If Andrade’s tweet is any reference that it makes sense that Charlotte Flair could insert herself in a Wrestlemania build on Smackdown, now that the Raw Women’s Title match is all set. It was first noted by PWInsider that there have been some talks over the weekend that The Queen could be appearing on this Friday’s SmackDown on FOX episode.
No other details were given by the source and there’s no word, either on how she would be booked on the blue brand this close to WrestleMania 37. The Smackdown Women’s Title match for the Show of Shows is also set where Royal Rumble 2021 winner Bianca Belair challenges Sasha Banks for the title.
