The Bella Twins paved the way for many youngsters in the professional wrestling circuit and Chelsea Green seems to be one of them. Despite the usual hatred that the two Bellas digest from the hardcore IWC fans, it’s a fact that they were two of the cornerstone figures of WWE Women’s Evolution. Plus, with their efforts and dedication, they were able to bring more viewers to WWE programming like anyone before.
Now, it appears that former WWE Superstar Chelsea Green has acknowledged the fact by paying homage to them. Over on Instagram, she posted a picture of herself in her in-ring gear that could be used for her in-ring appearances for ROH, Impact, or anywhere else. The ring attire was recreated from a classic gear worn by the Bellas, back in the Divas era of the WWE.

The caption of the photo by Chelsea Green stated, “You can look but you can’t touch” which is the catchline of the Bella Twins’ entrance music (later this version has been used by only Nikki Bella as brie got her own music).
Bellas does have a brief history with Chelsea Green
Brie Bella commented on the look saying that the former Hot Mess was literally on fire. Impact Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazo also noted the same. Randy Orton’s wife, Kim Orton, and ex WWE Superstar Lana aka CJ Perry also mentioned the same in the comment section.
Nikki Bella took to Instagram in early June to send a heartfelt message to multiple female WWE Superstars that were recently released by the company. Chelsea Green was among them and for her, the former Divas champion reserved a separate paragraph on her post which stated,
‘And @chelseaagreen was super excited to see what you were going to bring! Thank you all for the entertainment and the memories! I know the future is so bright for you all! Can’t wait to follow you all wherever you may go.??⭐️ #womenswrestling”
In that post, Nikki also addressed the other released female talents like Ruby Riott, Mickie James, The IIconics [Billie Kay & Peyton Royce], and Lana.
Chelsea Green and The Bella Twins never had the opportunity to share the ring in the WWE. But back in 2014, during the buildup of Stephanie McMahon vs. Brie Bella matchup storyline, WWE used her as a kayfabe witness person who was eventually beaten up by the younger Bella.
