Chelsea Green has proved herself to become one of the most entertaining members of the WWE roster since her entry into the WWE women’s division during her comeback to the company at the 2023 Royal Rumble event. Since returning to the global promotion, she had shown the capability of connecting with the fanbase as well as some of her old contemporaries from her past WWE run.

Besides, new acquaintances were also made by Chelsea Green and that’s another emerging star power of Raw in the form of the member of the Alpha Academy faction, Maxxine Dupri. The latter is trying to carve out a spot for herself in the Women’s locker room and the recent backlash didn’t have any effect on her disciplined regime.

Kelly Kelly Wants To Make A WWE Comeback For THIS REASON

During a recent interview with Joe Vulpis on the Lightweights Podcast, Chelsea Green detailed her friendship with Maxxine Dupri. Unlike her other bestie from All Elite Wrestling in Deonna Purrazzo, she shares a similar lifestyle, workout regime, eating choices, and even sleep cycles,

“All my other girlfriends, like my best friends Deonna [Purrazzo], she works for AEW, she goes to sleep really late, she wakes up really late. I can’t. I just cannot. We have totally different schedules. She’s pretty good at going with the flow with me, but [Maxxine] is like, let’s go to sleep as early as possible. She eats healthy with me, all the things we just mesh on.”

Reason Chelsea Green prefers Maxxine Dupri as her travel partner

Moving on in the conversation, Chelsea Green even went on to mention that she prefers to have Maxxine Dupri as her travel partner on a flight over her real-life husband Matt Cardona. She also had a specific reason behind it and that’s the sitting arrangements,

“I prefer traveling with Maxxine over my husband. Because we align way more than my husband and I do, like way more. Also, I really, really hate the fact that Matt and I get on a plane and I have to sit in the middle seat. I hate that. [With Maxxine], it depends. We just are like, ‘Do you want it?’ We’ll switch. We’re friends.”

Chelsea Green returned to WWE with a “Karen” gimmick at the 2023 Royal Rumble and the fact that she was able to put the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship back on the map could set her up for a singles push. According to a previous report from FightFans, there are considerations for within the WWE creative to drag her into the singles scene in due course.
