Chelsea Green was touted to be one of the brightest female talents to get signed with the WWE, back in 2018. But her time in the company did not go the way she and her huge fanbase had hoped. While creative disputes are the obvious reason behind the same, it’s also largely due to the fact that her career was always infected by unfortunate injuries.
After having a not-so-good experience on NXT, Chelsea Green was introduced to the main roster. But on the very same day of her Smackdown debut, she ended up suffering a wrist injury and thereafter had to be taken off TV. This eventually also marked her departure from the WWE as she was released from her contract within the next few months.

Chelsea Green was recently on a trip with her husband Matt Cardona fka Zack Ryder in the WWE. For the past week or so, she has been constantly uploading stunning photos of herself in skimpy attires from her vacation days and she hasn’t stopped doing so in the past few hours. She uploaded another photo of herself in a blue bikini while promising fans she’ll upload more photos in the next 48 hours.

“I promise you only have to deal with me posting honeymoon pictures for another 48 hours,” Chelsea Green wrote on the post on Instagram.
Chelsea Green explored multiple options following WWE release
Following her WWE release, Chelsea Green decided to elevate herself and become a better pro wrestler. She also got opportunities to work with different companies such as NWA, GCW, and others. Now, she’s back in Impact Wrestling again and fans are glad to get back the Hot Mess in a rebranded avatar.
As for her WWE career, Chelsea Green does remember the bitter experience she had while being with the company. Speaking with the Busted Open Radio podcast, she went into her WWE release where she vented out frustrations about the entire experience. She had no clues whatsoever about her release, as well,
“So, I had no clue. I think my initial reaction was that I had no reaction and I just got down to business. I opened up my Pro Wrestling Tees store, then contacted Ring of Honor, NWA, and Impact and stuff.
