Backlash from the professional wrestling fans didn’t stop WWE from hosting Crown Jewel 2021 and heading back to Saudi Arabia. The company will host yet another huge PPV event in the middle-east country this week with the main event of the show being WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defending his title against Brock Lesnar in a Wrestlemania rematch.
Plus, at the WWE Crown Jewel 2021 pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia, Mustafa Ali will face Mansoor in a singles contest. It’s going to be a history-making incident as this will be the first time ever that two Muslims will have a match against each other on a WWE PPV. While Monsoor is a hometown favorite for Saudi fans, Monsoor is billed from Pakistan as his father belongs to the country.
Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns Program Won’t End At WWE Crown Jewel 2021
Alit posted the following tweet to promote his match since WWE hasn’t plugged the same aspect of this Crown Jewel 2021 matchup,
“Though i wish some of the circumstances were different, I’m still thankful that for the first time ever two Muslims will have a singles match on a WWE PPV. I’m thankful that for one night, Mansoor and I get to be what we wanted to see growing up.”
Mansoor then replied with the following, “The choice was yours. See you tomorrow.”

As seen earlier, Ali has already been upset about this match since it wasn’t promoted on SmackDown when all the other matches for Crown Jewel 2021 were being listed on the show. So, he threw a tweet directing at the WWE management,
“Just a reminder, this match is also taking place at #WWECrownJewel despite not being promoted at all at the end of #SmackDownOnFS1”
Crown Jewel 2021 will be history from another perspective since for the first time ever, two women’s division matches will go down on a single Saudi Arabia PPV event. Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will defend her title against Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks in a Triple Threat. The finale of the inaugural WWE Queen’s Crown tournament will also take place at the PPV where Zelina Vega competes against either Doudrop or Shayna Baszler.
