WWE Raw star and a former WWE United States champion Damian Priest who is also a former WWE NXT North American champion recently talked about the Stable Judgment Day of which he is a part of and claimed that he is really comfortable in the stable.
The Judgment Day is currently one of the most famous parts of WWE. The stable was formed back at WrestleMania 38 when WWE Hall of Famer Edge was having a one on one match with AJ Styles. At the end of the match, Damian Priest was seen standing outside of the ring who distracted AJ which led a victory to Edge.
Damian Priest Claims He Is Really Comfortable In Judgment Day
The very next night on Monday Night RAW, Edge announced the beginning of his new stable The Judgment Day. At first there were only two members, Priest and Edge. At the very next pay per view event which was named WrestleMania Backlash, the third member of the stable was announced who turned out to be the former WWE Raw Women’s champion Rhea Ripley.
At the Hell in a Cell pay per view event, all three members of the Judgement Day were challenged by the team of AJ Styles, Finn Balor and Liv Morgan in a 6 person mixed tag team match. It was a great match and at the end, the Judgment Day won. Fans were expecting to see the fourth member of the stable but it was not revealed at Hell in a Cell.
It was revealed on the very next night on Monday night RAW and it was none other than the former WWE Universal champion Finn Balor. Then came the shocking part, the stable betrayed their own leader Edge.
At first it seemed like a bad decision but later it was revealed that the Rated R Superstar was against the plans of the stable so he was kicked out. We hope WWE continues the stable and keeps making it a main event level attraction.
Damian Priest who is also a former WWE NXT North American champion recently spoke to TV Insider where he talked about the Stable Judgment Day of which he is a part of and claimed that he is really comfortable in the stable. He said;
“The best stories are when they come from reality. I was frustrated. I was doing what I was asked to do. I was this overly babyface good guy coming out smiling, happy, saying all the right things. It just didn’t click. I was doing everything everyone wanted me to do. That was real.
“It still wasn’t there unless I was saving one of the fan favorites. That’s when I was getting cheered. There is part of that which is real, and I use. I’m doing all this for me and with people that I admire and that I’m friends with. I’m more comfortable now than I’ve been since joining the Raw roster.
“If I had to pick anyone from NXT, the first person I would pick is Santos [Escobar]. I’ve always been a fan of his stuff. Just carries himself so well. Great in the ring, well-spoken. When you look at him, the guy doesn’t look like a random person. He looks like a star.”
