Eva Marie had quite the fanbase within the WWE Universe for her oomph quotient during her run with the company. As a bonafide heel, she sure did know how to stir things with ease. Her techniques in in-ring competition used to be always handy to garner natural heel heat from the audience, as well.
We haven’t seen Eva Marie on WWE TV for almost a year after getting released from the company. She’s busy with outsider projects and while doing so, she had to be hospitalized after going through an unfortunate instance. The former WWE and Total Divas star had to be rushed to the emergency room after suffering an allergic reaction to fire ant bites.
WWE Star Eva Marie Sets A Major Record On Tiktok
The health scare apparently happened during the Labor Day weekend as Eva Marie shared the news via her social media accounts over the latest weekend. In a posted TikTok video of herself from the hospital, she could be spotted with welts across her back, neck, face, and legs. The video had the following caption: “When you have a massive allergic reaction to fire ants and u end up in the ER with anaphylactic shock.”

Eva Marie got released during WWE’s budget cut procedures
As noted above, Eva Marie was among 18 WWE Superstars who were released from their contracts on November 5, 2021. She was only brought back on WWE TV in April of the same year and hence the release happened within just six months of being re-hired by the company.
During her short second tenure with the WWE, Eva Marie featured in a storyline with Doudrop. Initially, she used to be the mentor of the former NXT UK Superstar who was converted into a rival. During that run with the company, she wrestled a total of seven matches on TV, out of which she ended up suffering five losses. The two wins were also scored in tag team matches via Doudrop.
Eva Marie then wrestled her last match on the September 20 episode of WWE Raw before taking a break from WWE TV to film a movie. She was written off the TV after being attacked by Shayna Baszler on the September 27 RAW. WWE then announced that the victim was being treated for a possible dislocation of the elbow but she ultimately never returned.
