This year’s Elimination Chamber PPV is shaping up to be a historical edition considering that there will be two matches inside the steel cage structure.
Apart from the original men’s division matchup, we will witness the women’s Elimination Chamber matchup, as well for the very first time in the history of the WWE Raw.
The participants of this particular match were confirmed on this week’s WWE Raw whereas we are waiting to get the final name for the Elimination Chamber matchup from the men’s division.
Five of the six spots available in this hellacious match have been filled up with the winners of qualifying matchups. The last names will be declared on next week’s edition of WWE Raw.

According to the announcement from WWE, the losers of the bygone qualifying matches will get another chance to get into the Elimination Chamber match. Four of them will compete in a ‘second chance’ fatal-4-way match with the winner getting the only space to be filled at the Chamber.
Those four men are going to be Finn Balor, Apollo Crews, Bray Wyatt and Woken Matt Hardy for the Fatal-4-Way match.
The only name missing from this list is Kane who had also lost a Last Man Standing match, last week against Braun Strowman. But, he has not been seen after the vicious attack delivered by the winner following the match.
Hence, the Big Red Machine was not involved in the equation.

The concept of this second chance match is quite good considering that there was some major fan backlash with the outcome of the matches in the qualifying matches.
The WWE Universe was not okay with John Cena defeating Finn Balor and taking him out of the mix with Wrestlemania season coming ahead. Balor was also eliminated by John Cena at the Royal Rumble match, too.
The same can be said about Roman Reigns, too. His win was predictable against Bray Wyatt and hence the crowd booed him a lot after winning the opening contest of this week’s WWE Raw.
So, this upcoming matchup is not only huge but is also likely to be a fan-favourite as a second opportunity is given to the superstars who ended up being on the losing side.
