Roman Reigns continues to digest beatdown on WWE programming on a regular curse as seen on WWE Raw. Plus, he now has a double chip on his shoulder at the beginning of the month of June. At Super ShowDown, Shane McMahon will take on him in a first-ever match. The next PPV event names Stomping Grounds will see him competing in a Wrestlemania rematch. Drew McIntyre will take on him on that inaugural edition of the show on June 23rd.

Last night, Drew McIntyre revealed the same on the opening segment of WWE Raw. The scheduled six-man tag team match was underway thereafter which the heels dominated. McIntyre picked up the win pinning Jey Uso with a Claymore Kick. After this, McIntyre, Revival and Shane McMahon laid down an assault on Reigns. Shane delivered a spear to mock The Big Dog before laying him down in the ring.

Earlier, WWE confirmed to bring in Roman Reigns to flagship show for the sixth consecutive week. Who better to pull up the ratings for WWE Raw than the franchise player, itself? After all, the host of the show USA Network was not happy with the news of sending him over Smackdown during the Superstar Shakeup. Thereafter WWE came up with the idea of Wild Card Rule innovated by Vince McMahon.
In the leading weeks, Roman Reigns picked up a feud with the McMahons. This brought heels like Elias and Drew McIntyre into the scene as Shane McMahon hired them for aligning purpose. He also announced a singles contest against the Big Dog at Super ShowDown. As part of the buildup process, WWE.com announced last night’s matchup,
“Roman Reigns’ rivalry with Drew McIntyre has fumed ever since WrestleMania 35, while The Usos and The Revival are just getting started. This Monday night on Raw, the two grudges will collide in a Six-Man Tag Team Match that pits Reigns and his twin cousins against McIntyre and the cocky “Top Guys,” who are already one-up on The Usos following a victory two weeks ago. Which team will walk out of Raw with bragging rights?”
Well, Roman Reigns tried hard during the encounter but failed short to the number games.
