Last night’s WWE RAW saw Randy Orton issuing a challenge to WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, for another title match that will take place inside the Hell in a Cell structure. He went on a rant about destroying the legends, last week which was a warning to the champion. McIntyre ended up attacking Orton during the backstage promo as the officials ran down to stop him.

This allowed Randy Orton to escape the scene as he slithered away from the room. Later, Drew McIntyre appeared in a backstage interview and got asked about the challenge laid down by the Viper inside the Hell in a Cell structure. He accepted and thus the match for the next PPV was made official.

On a related note, Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre was part of a six-man tag team match on last night’s Raw main event. The reigning WWE champion teamed up with the Raw Tag Tag Team Champions The Street Profits whereas Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode teamed with the challenger.

After Ziggler hit a Fame-asser on Ford, McIntyre dropped him with a Claymore Kick. He then performed the finisher on Roode, too which allowed Orton to take advantage. The Viper then executed an RKO on the champion to secure a pinfall win and gain some momentums before their Hell In A Cell encounter, later this month.

Previously, Drew McIntyre competed against Randy Orton while defending his title at SummerSlam and Clash Of Champions 2020 pay-per-view. On both the occasions, McIntyre secured wins that indicated the feud could be over. But WWE is still dragging the heated feud for one more pay-per-view night.

The 2020 WWE Hell In a Cell event will take place, live on October 25 from WWE ThunderDome at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. This may be the final WWE pay-per-view from the Amway Center as the current lease will expire on the 31st of this month. Below is the two matches announced for the PPV night,
